
In the strong belief that only a healthy nation may form the
layering foundations for a sound economic development,
which assisted by educational progress shall procure
in a stable and peaceful cooperation between groups of man,
the “Oral Health Foundation Rwanda” (OHFR) wishes in joint-effort
with the people of Rwanda to contribute to a better health of the poor farmers
and less fortunate citizens in the inlands of that country.
It wishes to achieve this by striving to supply in an adequate
and more structural dental and oral care in Rwanda.
Purposes of the Oral Health Foundation Rwanda (OHFR) shall be:
To offer dental surgery and oral health care to the citizens of Rwanda through the input of Dutch dentists.
To promote preventive dental care in Rwanda.
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the people of developed countries for the civic , social, moral and economic problems of Rwanda.
To supply information about the mission of dentists in Rwanda.
To intermediate in the posting and lodging of volunteering dentists.
To provide a continuous chain of volunteering Dutch dentists to maintain a steady implementation of oral care and training in Rwanda.
To assist in the building of dental clinics in Rwanda.
To train and prepare of so called ‘barefoot dentists’ for their tasks in Rwanda.
To undertake all necessary legal actions, in the broadest meaning thereof, that shall be detriment to achieve the compliance of above purposes.
