A good implementation demands a thorough preparing. Following a limited office search a broader investigative plan should be drawn. More important seems an effective on location presence. Contact with authorities and health institutions are a must to create a strong supporting base. The circumstances under which the activities have to take place should be clearly defined. Knowledge of what facilities and infrastructure are extant will provide a proper view of what can be done and is really feasible. Good contacts out there and insight in all surrounding factors will contribute to an optimal completion of activities implemented later on. The results out of that search will highly contribute to a realistic plan of actions.
In the beginning of May 2007, there has been a successful visit to Rwanda in particular to the hospital of Remera-Rukoma.
As a result of this visit there is decided in close cooperation with the proper authorities :

- To build a small dental clinic at the hospital premises in Remera-Rukoma.
- To start a survey at a primary and secondary school in Remera
- To start and execute a preventive program concerning dental care
- Taking care of a training ˜ on the job ˜ for dentist's assistants students of the Kigali Health Institute
- Taking care of a transfer of knowledge between the dentists of the OHFR and the Kigali Health Institute

In order to realize this all, there has been established a plan of action. To express the intentions of the OHFR and the EPR there is a ˜ memorandum of understanding ˜ .
The short-term planning is to return to Remera at the end of the year 2007 for the survey and to start and supervise the construction of the dental  clinic .
Of course to realize all this, the OHFR needs a considerable amount of money. The
executive committee of the OHFR is doing one's utmost to raise money and is also counting on your support. Besides the fundraising, the OHFR will always accept dental equipment as well as dentists willing to volunteer to work for sometime in Rwanda.
